Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week! This Wednesday Watch List may be a first in that it includes so many dark colors! But I think when everything outside is so white and bright, I crave some contrast.

1 – I love black and white decors, but not usually in our home. However this gorgeous home designed by Cortney Bishop. I absolutely love all of the white and black mixed with warm wood tones. Can you even imagine this being your vacation home?! So beautiful! You can take the full home tour here.
2 – I’ve been looking for a cabinet for a project I’m working on and it’s been hard to find one I really love. But, when I saw this metal display cabinet it stopped me in my tracks. Isn’t it gorgeous! Admittedly, I’m not typically drawn to black, but I also love the contrast black can add to otherwise dark rooms. I’m adding this one to the contender list. Admittedly, because of price along, this cabinet may be the winner. I saw it in person and really like it!
3 – Where have these pillows been all my life? Do you ever design items in your head and wonder why nobody actually carries said items?? Hopefully it’s not just me. But these pillows are a look I’ve been wanting for ages. I love that they’re both seasonless and timeless! Now I just have to decide if the midnight or the platinum is the ideal color for our house! And today they’re 35% off (and ship for free with code GIVEME20).
4 – I picked up this Platters & Boards cookbook at a local shop last weekend, and I’ve been loving flipping through it and dreaming. I am a major charcuterie fan, and feel like I could basically eat it every meal. This book has so many fun ideas for various charcuterie boards for every meal of the day. I found it very inspirational! I also picked up this book and when Kurtis saw it he laughed (likely given the fact that we don’t have a garden). I had to explain that it may inspire me to plant a garden – plus, I grew up in a town called Bountiful so I felt like it was fate. Isn’t there something so great about flipping through actual books at times rather than scrolling online Pinterest feeds or other random places for recipes?
5 – If you love the look of the Darlana linear pendant light (what we have in our dining room) but not the price and need something a bit smaller this new light fixture is perfect! And the best part is it comes in a true gold finish, unlike many of the alternatives I’ve shared in the past! And if you do want a full-size one, this option is the best yet, because it doesn’t have the two support rods going through it like prior versions! It’s back-ordered until the beginning of February, but you can add your name to their notification list if you really wanted it!

Hi Anne-
You would need to reach out to the designer at the link provided. Unfortunately I do not have sources for her project. Thank you!
