Isn’t it so hard to believe that Christmas is only three days away? Today I’m sharing one of my favorite home tours for the week of Christmas. I’ve teamed up with a group of very talented bloggers, along with our host Rachel from Maison de Pax, to bring you our Christmas Nights Home tour. It’s like the peaceful version of all the others tours you’ve seen so far, and is usually my last post of the Christmas season. So, grab your favorite warm beverage, turn on ‘O Holy Night’ and plan to get settled in for our tours lit solely by Christmas lights.
If you’re stopping in from my friend Aniko’s blog at Place of My Taste, welcome! If you’re looking for the daytime tour of our home, check out this Christmas tour post. You can also find all sources in that post if you have questions on any items in our home.
I’m going to try and keep the words to a minimum in this post (it might be hard for me). We didn’t put up lights outside this year, other than the recommended lights on the tree in our parkway (our whole neighborhood does this). But, the tree in my office glows brightly for the street to see! I also opt to not turn on overhead lights in my office when I work at night. It feels so magical!
Walking down the hallway, we have a soft glow from the wreaths on the doorway leading to our courtyard. All of our lights are on timers so they are already on by the time we get home from work. Such a welcome sight at the end of a long day!
I’ve never shown a pic with our hallway sconces on at night, so I figured now was as good of time as any.
Our newly updated dining room feels extra special this year with the addition of a Christmas tree!
We spend a few hours each night and most of the weekends in our living room in the winter. We turn on the fire, the cats sprawl out (they love the fire) and the whole space just feels so cozy. It almost makes winter bearable.
I hope you enjoyed our Christmas nights tour! I’ll be checking out for a few days to enjoy the holidays with family. I’ll like be popping in once or twice before the New Year, but until then, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
The next stop on the tour is my friend Erin from Sunny Side Up! She has one of my favorite homes in all of blog land, so I’m sure her tour will be stunning!

That picture of your dining room with the tree lights shining on the O Come Let Us Adore Him canvas literally took my breath away! For some reason it just really stopped me and was a great reminder of the reason for Christmas. Love the tour!!
