Remember when I made a New Year’s resolution to be a better hostess? Well, after the first of the year I felt like I was getting marginally better. Since we’ve added the pool, I feel like our hosting skills have definitely increased.
Today I am sharing some Rosé All Day party ideas from a get together I hosted recently for a few close friends. As summer came to an end, I felt like it was time to have a casual get together with some of my girls. I didn’t want the party to feel fussy or formal, so I planned a fun Rosé All Day woodland themed garden party for a few close friends. I like my get togethers to have a cohesive look, but I think you’ll see that a cohesive theme can still be simple and more importantly, not stressful to plan.
An Informal Get Together
Because this was intentionally more of an informal get together, I only served delicate desserts and a variety of rosés. The weather ended up being pretty crappy so I moved things indoors. Although, we did last outdoors for about five minutes before it started downpouring on us! I picked up some chalkboard tags at Target and attached them as labels with some faux navy suede I found in the dollar section. I used my chalk markers to freehand labels onto each of the chalkboards. Not only was it helpful to the guests in identifying the type of wine to drink, but I think it made everything look more polished! Such an easy addition that looked so cute!
To play on the nature woodland garden theme, I picked up a few bunches of eucalyptus at Trader Joe’s. I used wood serving ware I’ve had on hand for a few years and it looked perfect against the food and the greenery – exactly what any woodland garden party should have!
I found some cute pampering kits from Burt’s Bees, along with a variety of their lip balms, that I used for the party favors for each of the guests. Then I made another chalkboard tag for the favors to keep the overall look uniform.
I served a variety of cakes, cakepops, fresh fruits and pink/blush-toned candies.
As beautiful as the decor was, it always seems like the laughter and conversations take center stage (as they should)! Isn’t it always fun to have a fairly impromptu get together with your friends? I hope you loved these party ideas as much as I do!
