Welcome to this week’s Wednesday Watch List, where I share the random things that captured my attention and stole my heart over the past week!
1 – A stunning kitchen makeover by Nicole Davis Interiors. Be sure to check out the full tour. More and more, I’m loving the warmth that brass adds to an otherwise cool, white and marble kitchen.
2 – Pretty (and super affordable) velvet pillow covers in virtually every color of the rainbow (and various sizes)! These have pretty much become a staple in our house, regardless of season. They add such vibrant color and a pretty texture you just can’t get with other fabrics!
3 – Have you guys heard of/tried Invisible Heels? I’m hearing more and more about them lately and can’t wait to give them a try (they seem to solve most of the problems that flat shoes present). Essentially, you add them inside your shoes for instant height, longer legs and a perkier bum. They come in three heights as well. Check out the various before and after results! I think I’m going to start with the 1.5″ height. I’d love to hear if you’ve tried them and if you loved the results!
4 – Since we got rid of the chaise lounge in my craft room, I’ve been eyeing some affordable daybeds to fill the void and add some more practical seating. I’m in love with this white circular motif daybed and really love the pricetag that it comes with. Isn’t it the cutest?
5 – Remember when I started painting our guest bathroom a month or two back? Well, obviously the project has stalled. But I’ve been on the lookout for some pretty (and affordable) art to fill two of the large walls (I may even do a full post on affordable art options at a later date). I found this abstract beach art photography and thought it was so pretty – and you can get pretty large sizes for a great price.

The invisible heels sounds pretty cool! I have so many boots I wear for winter without the heels because who wants to walk around in the snow wearing heels. This could be the answer to the problem. It would be good if this could work for ballet flats too. I love wearing ballet flats for comfort but I don’t like how they often look because they don’t have heels.
Please let us know how you like them and which type of shoes you’re going to use it.
