This was a weekend of non-stop painting.
It really is amazing what some new paint can do for things. After the success of my last spray-painting job, I decided to take on a bigger project. Some may freak out that I painted something that seemed perfectly fine the way it was {the husband} but the wood color did not match my bonus room white scheme and rather than buy something new, I invested about 10 bucks in high gloss spray paint {I think I ended up using four cans} and it looks great! Thanks to hubby for putting on the last coat.

Now I just need to find photos of people I actually know to put in the frame!
I also started painting our bedroom and master bathroom. This turned out to be a MUCH bigger project than I intended and I used a LOT more paint than I thought would be necessary. I used Behr’s Castle Path for our bedroom and am doing the bathroom in a dark brown. So far I think it looks amazing – the husband didn’t even think our bedroom changed until he saw the finished project and he too is now happy.
Here is a little sneak peek until I get everything done. Old paint is the one on the left, new paint on the right. Side by side the new one looks greyish but it looks much more like a true khaki color to me in real life. Not too noticeable of a change, but it is a world of difference to me! Not to mention goodbye to flat paint hello to eggshell. Love it!
Here is another sneak peak looking from the {mostly} finished bedroom walls to the unfinished bathroom paint. I love how it is looking so far!
