Around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, I found the husband cleaning our bathroom. WHAT?!?! This seriously only occurs if I nag him continuously {sorry babe, but you know its true}! I asked if he was sick. He said he just didn’t feel like being lazy today. Score! Trust me, I took full advantage of this.
Remember our laundry room renovation last summer? {It’s funny to look at that post because the other two projects have already been re-done}. Well, back in May when this all started we bought some handles for the cabinets, as well as the crown-molding that was mentioned that still needed to be added to the top.
We FINALLY worked on this project again today! All that’s left is filling the wood holes and some touch-up painting but I love it! The handles and crown-molding really made it even better.
But first, the befores to remind us just how bad it once was and the middle stage photo where we left off last spring:
And now after:
I also finally hung some “art” in our master bathroom {I have the hardest time finding stuff I like or justifying prices}. So, I took some scrapbook paper I had lying around {a good temporary fix} and put it in some Pottery Barn frames I had gotten on clearance awhile for a ridiculously cheap price. They match the ones on our dresser in our bedroom {notice the one in the reflection on the husband’s dresser that also matches} – I love the linen mats. I also filled those frames with some of our engagement photos and hung my bridal picture.
The new mudroom would include lockers much like these for coats and a bench for putting on shoes:
